Our factory is an integral part of Lithia Springs Programs, a residential treatment program for at-risk youth located in Ashland, Oregon. As a sheltered-vocational opportunity for students at Lithia Springs School, Mission Candles' employees learn job skills, earn money to repay restitution or prepare for independent living, and receive vocational instruction and counseling to actualize success in their home communities following program graduation. Student chandlers are mentored in the manufacture of our hand-dipped artisan candles by experienced adult professionals to meet Mission Candles' high quality assurance standards. Mission Candles is a non-profit company utilizing all proceeds to provide support services to program clients.
